On a 1977 late model should there be a buzzer or warning that the parking lights are on when the car is off. I do not see anything on the wire diagram. What year was this added? While at XXX rootbeer car show I beleive 767REP 77 early (key on fender) had a buzzer sound from behind center cluster.

did you mean headlights or parking lights? on 75 they have the light on
the dash for headlights only. parking lights that i know of don't have

Someone along the way was annoyed by the buzzing and removed it, I can almost guarrenty that

Even know thias is not for a 77 they are very generic and I bet you can get it to work on your 77.

I you want a generic headlight warning buzzer, go to Radio Shack and get a 12 volt buzzer and a diode with the same or slightly greater watt rating than the buzzer. Connect the cathode (striped) end of the diode to the positive wire on the buzzer. Connect a wire to the other end of the diode and hook it to the dash light fuse. ( that one turns off when you turn off the lights) Connect the negative wire on the buzzer to the ignition fuse.
It will remain quiet until you leave the lights on with the key off then it will get noisy, unless the dash lights are turned down.
Simple, cheap, works on everything.
