I recently noticed that the guages on my 80', including the tach do not zero out when the car is shut off. They all seem to work OK with the engine running. Any thoughts on this problem?

It's normal for the electronic gauges. With no "power", they will default to a particular area of the dial. Your's are all operating correctly.

Yup, sometimes the gauges on my 81 do the same thing. Just one of those "Mystery" things !!
