After doing a bunch of other stuff, I am back to my amp gauge project. What readings should I expect to get on my 68? I get maybe 1/2 amp at 2000 rpm .... Thanks, Bruce in Mt. Airy, MD

Once the car is running, you really shouldn't show any reading on the gauge, unless there is something drawing juice, such as the blower motor, A/C, headlights, etc. When you first start it tho, you should show some amperage as the alt. charges the batt. back to "full". This is assuming the voltage regulator is functioning properly.
Is this how yours is working, or does it NEVER show any output?
