Vette(s): 1976 Silver/Firethorn. L48, 4spd. Original 2 bolt, vortec heads, 9.4:1 CR, Speed Pro Cam: 224/224@0.050, 112 LSA, Eagle Steel Crank.
I actually found a working original style clock in a box of spare parts.  It seems to gain about 2 seconds in three minutes.  It won't take long for it to get way out of time at that rate.  It looks like there is a rocking or sliding switch accessible through a hole in the back, but I have no idea how it works or if you can even adjust it that way.  Any thoughts?

P.S. I know the sensible thing would be to buy a replacement quartz unit, but I have this working original so I first want to try that route.  Call me crazy.....

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Mine gains about 5 minutes a day.  I just adjust when I get in...  Too much trouble to get to it

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Yep, Bob's pretty cool and I live only about 20 miles away from him!  He sent me two different files about rebuilding and adjusting the clock - I should be able to get it working in tick-tock Ermmshape now.
