Hi Mark, I found a single step foot stool (plastic) that was the same height as the rocker panel and using one or 2 of those to support my body was able to work in that position for a while with minimal discomfort. Of course, now that I have the lift, it's easy enough to raise the car up to the perfect working height.

Here's a trick. Use a girl's hand mirror that costs about 4 bucks from Wal-Mart and a cheapo multi-led flashlight to see what you're doing. Slide a small ty-rap underneath and around the fuse, pull it tight, then pull the fuse with it. Before you put the fuse back in, tighten a teensie ty-rap around the thing, cut off all but an inch of the tail, and you'll have a neato handle to pull it out next time. Your fuse block might end up looking like a ty-rap farm, but the damn fuses will be EASY to fool with.

Thanks guys, all great ideas Clap I did think twice about the pen light story dohbut put it in there anyways.  I do love the ty-rap idea, it will make it easier to get in and to pull next time.  My biggest problem is only being able to get one hand in there.  I seriously can't lay on that side any longer, I'm planning on taking the seat out tonight and try again.  Thanks again guys Thumbs%20Up

Hey an ideaLamp anyone ever thought of moving the fuse panel to a more accessable location?  Too much work, not worth it?  What do ya think?

mark it would be great to do that but would take a lot of wiring, then where would you put it?, and unless you have a short or working and short something out how many fuses do you blow? after you do it and find an easy way (did i say that about a vetteRolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing) if you have to do it again you usually remember what not to do and in most cases is easier than the first time. just my opinion and 2 cents. good luck with your car and decision.Thumbs%20Up
