I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post or not, but I just bought a new power antenna and was wondering what the best way to get up in the wheel well is to work on this thing? Seems like I may have to remove the muffler??? Don't want to, but it just seems that way.

Also, for a new radio, what are the best places to wire the power and the memory wires to? I guess which fuses work the best for each? Any experiences on this subject would be greatly appreciated...

This is one of the few things I have farmed out to someone else. I ran the wire in the tracks under the carpet on the driver side door sill and behind the kick panel, but I left all the wiring up to the local vette mechanic. For about $50 he wired it into the radio and made the connections at the back. I didn't want to take a chance of screwing up the radio or the antenna.
Definitely easier to work on the antenna if you pull the muffler. Still have factory style exhaust with a cat? Remove the bolts at the cat and pull both mufflers and Y pipe as an assembly.
As for the memory wire, why not run it all the way to the fuse panel to a "batt" terminal with an inline fuse holder(others like to splice it to the cigarette lighter, not me). You can splice the radio power to the original radio power wire or bring that one to the fuse panel, also. Connect it to an "acc" terminal, again with an inline fuse holder.

I'm in the city...Bucktown. What do the inline fuse holders do? The old aftermarket had a couple of those. Where's Beecher?
