Glad you were able to make some progress on the alarm!!
Unbolting the fusebox might give you some room to work with, but not much...prolly not enough to make it worth the effort. The fusebox is held to the firewall with the harness pass-thru connector, on the engine side, under the brake booster. There is a small bolt in the center of the pass-thru connector. Loosening he bolt(it will NOT come all the way out) will allow the separation of the harness from the fusebox, as well as allow the fusebox to be moved some on the inside...

Some of those empty connections you might be seeing are for other options or items phased out that they just didn't change the wire looms in time for. Don't drive yourself crazy if everything is working...
