This goes out to fellow C3ers who have installed the bubble tail light option which means you lose your stock back-up lights.

Mine are hanging down behind the bumper. They still work but they're not visible from behind. At night they kind of light up the ground under the rear tire.

So I need to get the girl inspected and I'm sure they're going to want to see those light up. Wondering if anyone had a clever temporary solution? I don't have the original lamp assemblies to use.

I have used a cheap back up light for a trailer from the local autozone. Attach it to one of the rear tag screws and splice the wires into the ones you have under the bumper. Just let the wires dangle. Only looks tacky for the inspection.

Ahhh! Now that's a great idea - I was trying to figure out how/where to attach.
