I am checking out my blower operation. It looks like the resistors are in the top of the heatercore box just under the blower relay. Do I just take the two screws out and it pulls out? What values should the resistors be in ohms?

The resistors are a fairly heavy wire. Checking with an ohm meter won't work. It will show either open or closed, but no resistance. The ohm meter does not have enough current to encounter resistance.

Just remove the screws and lift the resistors out. You can see if they are damaged.

Thanks guys. I pulled the connector and checked with ohm meter. Dk Blue to Brown = 2.6 ohm, tan = 1.5 ohm, lt blue = 0.7 ohm. Since they don't show an open they should be fine. Not sure what resistance they should be since it is not listed anywhere that I can find. Since the resistance approximately doubles for each resistor it seems logical that the current will proportionately change based on the resistance to provide the three fan speeds.

High speed bypasses the resistors. Every speed down from there adds a resistor.
