Ok, I figured out how to post pictures.. The 2 pink wire with the blue crimp on it was just hanging when I picked up the car, it looks like it was crimped to another wire but I couldn't find it. That wire goes out with the headlight vacuum hoses to the firewall then goes up and splits, one pink wire goes back in the harness which I haven't traced, and the other which you can see in the last picture splits to a pink and blue wire, The pink goes to the distributer and blue goes around and hooks in the carb. Anybody know where in the car this might hook up to? BTW it is hot with the ignition on..

Well, after a month of swearing and kicking things around garage, I finally found the bubba electrical problem..I can't believe that it was staring me right  in the face the whole timeWits%20End. It's seems that bubba thought it would be a good idea to plug the A/C heater illumination plug into the glove box switch plug which was causing the short..

I must have looked at that thing 100 times and didn't even realize until today when it hit me like a ton of bricks. I unplug the two and bam everything works. Now it's time to replace the passenger window motor and the two door lock actuators, anyone have any tips..

Thanks to all who helped me track down this issue

Tim
