Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
After years of trying to figure this out (ok, I'll admit, most times I just don't think about it), I'll ask all of you - what bulb do I need and how do I hook it up for that center compartment in the "luggage compartment?"
Last weekend, I was doing some detailed cleaning in the jack compartment area, and it looks like that's where I find the wiring for that light. However, while I have some wires there, I had nothing directly going in to that light. I did have one wire that looked like it might be able to hold one of those bulbs that doesn't have a metal base, just the plug in-type glass.
Thoughts?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Mine was missing also. You have to order the little kit, it comes socket and all. You just plug it in to the existing wires, and yes they do come from the passenger side box were the jack is. It goes in a hole at the top of the middle compartment towards the passenger side. The on off button sticks up on the top side and the bulb is on the bottom side. If you have a catalog from Ecklers they have a picture. $20.00 part # A9605, but you might see if Larry has one at Corvette Specialties.
