Hi
I just bought my first corvette (77 T-Top) and the passenger window is stuck down. The switch in the console looks like it may be the problem. I though I'd try driver side switch to make sure this is the problem, if they are same. It works fine. Has anyone changed one of these out? How does the console come apart? Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to take the plastic off, and get this window up ASAP. Thanks.

There is a single bolt that you can get at through the tool compartment (under the glove box) that secures the back side of the e-brake console. Then there are a total of (4) phillips head screws, (2 on each side) of the console that need to be removed. Probably easiest to get at these with the seats out. The console can then be removed. Be careful re-assembling, the e-brake slider gets pinched easily. |cheers|

Fairly easy. Four bolts. Each side in the front, and each side in the back. Slide the seat back, remove the front bolts, the slide the seat forward and remove the back bolts. Then just lift the seat out.

It's easier to maneuver the seats out with the tops off as well. Just about anything you have to do under the dash, or in the center console normally has to start with removing the e-brake console then working your way forward until you can get at what you want.
