I replaced all the wiring harnesses and I just got the new door ajar and courtesy light switches in the mail today from lectric limited. My problem is the switches just have a slot for the wire terminal. They don't fit reel snug and it looks like if the door is opened and it makes contact it is going to push the connector out of the little white end. Do you straighten the connector put it in and bend it over?
sounds like a date I had in High School! sorry! Of course Lectric Limited is closed tonight so i'm stuck. Anybody replaced these before. They were all gone when I got the car.

You answered your own question!
Not knowing what your terminals look like, it's hard to be sure, but...the terminals that attach to the actual wires are indeed stuck into the slot(s) of the small round plastic end of the switch, then bent over.

Thanks Joel, I messed with them some last night and thats the only way I could imagine them staying put. Maybe I'll get'em put in tonight. I wish the companies we spend all this money with would provide a little more info with there products. My 2 cents.
Thanks

I hear you. Been there, done that. The vendors expect us to know what we're doing.
