Can't figure it out.

Checked wiring and is now correct at the driver side.

Passenger side I have 3 times black at one side and orange at top with blue wire below it at the other side. The orange is hot, blue goes to the other switch, upper and lower black are ground and middle black connects also to the other switch.

If everything is as it has to be there must be another problem. I checked the fuse box and all looked good.

For those interested I took some pictures of the outside and inside of the harnass connector. Please let me know and I'll mail them.

I will look at the passenger side to see if you are correct but it sounds like all is ok.Check for juice at the lock solonoids when you activate the switches and that the solonoids have a good ground

Jules,
Thanks for checking the wiring.|saluteflag|
I'll check the solonoids tomorrow trying to solve this problem for once and for all. Hope I can find the problem. Will keep you informed on the progress.

GOT IT WORKING.

Connected both sides right, soaked the switches in contact spray, sprayed and oiled the actuators and suddenly a new part of my vette returned to work.
Great support, thanks.

Took me a lot of time (more than a year) figuring it out which finally payed off. This is a great moment in the restoration of my vette. Even my alarm is now in use.
Thanks guys, without your support it probably never would have worked. |smile| |thumb|
