I have this setup on my 73 & they work fine. It was on there when I bought it and the previous owner made the brackets & bought the parts himself. I believe they are pontiac 79 firebird motors. I had to replace the passenger motor a few months ago...they do go bad.

I've done the electric conversion. You can use either Ford Probe Motors 93-97 or Miata motors 90-97.
The guys on eBay basically bought some brackets from me and copied what I was doing. It's a very straight forward conversion. I even have a harness that plug in between the headlight so no modding wiring, changing headlight switch or running wires to the dimmer switch- just a power and ground. Just minor mod to the headlight assembly actuator bracket-
