Windows don’t go up and down. Motors are ok. Windows will operate when power and ground are applied to the motors. Relay has power at both poles, relay is grounded, switches will only connect one way, center dash console is out. Any clue where my problem is?

Since I installed my own power windows, I do not know where all the factory harness connectors are. I would start at the next connector downstream from the relay and see where you're losing the power. Most likely place is between the A pillar and the door where the harness bends a lot. I had a Dodge minivan that broke the connection in that very place.

Could be the circuit breaker on your fuse panel if you have one. The windows suddenly stopped working on my 79 and I replaced the circuit breaker and I was back in business. I cut the old one open just to see what was in there and it was basically a pile of rust. No idea how they worked up to that point!!

You didn't say anything about whether the switch operates the window * If the switch doesn't work the windows, try this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMPHbhhE828

It is Chuck Goddard’s 74 which we rescued from a crook in Columbia, TN a year ago. It took 3 trailers to haul it away. Anyhow, the guy stole many pieces and I finally have it mostly back together. The story is very long and Chuck should tell it. It runs well, the Body is back on the frame, most of the interior is back in and now I am chasing electrical gremlin’s. Windows don’t go up and down, horn wire is dead, all of the proper spacers and insulators for the guages are missing and many more. Hooked up the battery gauge and it shorted so badly that it fried the auto trans cable. I am lost; serious electrical issues are beyond my expertise. Corvette fires are not good and many are electrically started. Need a C3 electrical expert.
