LoL. Sorry Joel. I tried to directly link them to the post...that computer class I took in college didn't pay off I guess LOL

I just changed them to direct HTML links...lemme know if that works.

BTW...I just got your email with the diagram...MUCH better than what I'm working with.  THANKS!!

Luke,

The big silver box thing is on the hump...but does the alarm relay tie into other systems like the AC Compressor and Wiper motor?   When I touched my electrical current tester to some of the wires and subsequently grounded them out, i was able to engage my AC Compressor and Wiper motor.

....I'm really just looking to get the AC working and get my radio wiring figured out so I can get my radio hooked up.

Thats the way a lot of the systems are on a Vette, they are wired hot and the switches supply the ground

The project continues...and yet another problem.  Anyone have a fuse box diagram for a 79 Vette.  Over the years the print has rubbed off of mine...cant read anything.  It would help quite a bit Wink

OK, i'll have to take a look to see what no 3 is.
4 is the wiper delay module, under the radio? Shouldn't have anything to do with the AC tho.
5...what color are the wires? Could be for something you don't have, like the auto trans backup switch. The wires WILL be under there. I have wires tucked up under the dash for a 4speed neutral safety switch on my auto white 79 and different things tucked away on my 4speed 79.

For the radio no 1...pink SHOULD be yellow also. The power feeds the radio with a yellow where it switches the power antenna on with the other yellow. Goes in and comes right back out. Either yellow(your pink?) will power the radio but it will cause other minor problems(for instance, power will backfeed into the radio from the power antenna hot(orange) lead and keep the "stereo" light lit all the time.
Looks like someone returned an original radio to the car? and spliced in a later model pigtail.
Do you have a power antenna? The radio isn't an etr with the digital clock is it?(not correct for 79). That would require an additional always hot lead not part of a 79 harness to power the clock and memory.

Do you have power windows and locks? Defroster?
