I posted a while back about an issue I was having with my fan switch on my AC equipped '75; the low speed does not work. The middle and high speed position both work. I had the controls apart last summer to reface them and I'm thinking I may have missed hooking up a wire somewhere. There is a light green wire (according to my wife as I'm red/green colorblind) that is hooked up to nothing I have noticed. Is that supposed to connect to the fan switch? I looked in a wiring diagram I have and see no light green wire going to the fan switch; only light blue, orange, yellow, brown and black. It would make sense that I have a wire off if I think about it. It looks like I'm going to have to pull the shift console out to get a better look as I can't see the fan switch connections very well and the vacuum hoses are keeping me from pulling it out any farther. This and a high beam indicator that doesn't work are my only two remaining electrical issues (for now).
I should add that the light green wire has a spade terminal on the end of it.

If anyone has a picture of the fan switch wired up I'd appreciate it.
BTW, the switched worked correctly before I took things apart so I know I've done something wrong.

According to that diagram, the light green wire is for the med-low speed....the yaller wire is for Low speed....
Wire colors may have changed with the year models, but they usually stayed the same.
Just to clarify, as a lot of folks may not know this.....on A/C cars, the fan blows on LOW speed any time the key is On. The fan has 4 speeds...Low, Medium Low, Medium High, and High. So...if the light green wire is loose, then most likely you do not have a Med-Low speed.....

Fixed the fan today. I had two issues. No low speed fan due to a loose connection at the console ground where it attaches to the HVAC controls and no 2nd position (med low) due to the light green wiring being detached. Both are working now. Thanks for everyone's help.
