I need to ask you guys and gals a question my tank is 23.7 gallons from what I have read. It seems to look pretty accurate, fill it up, and it goes past full a little. When it appears to be empty, it will be a little past the red,I stop and fill her up for fear of running out of gas and having to leave my prize on the side of the road (God Forbid),it will usually only take 19 gallons or so, man I would sure love to know if my fuel light works but dont wanna take the chance, is it fairly normal for the gauge to be off that much??

Now watch a bunch of people reply "but mine works" :)
However it's rare for the low fuel warning light to work on the late c3's,
It was poorly designed and went out fast it's long out of production,
there are aftermarket low fuel lamps that can be adapted to fit if you desire to get it working and keep working and some people have had some luck finding and replacing the burnt electronic part on the original module,

Thanks for the input guys, I ran it until I was just pure shaking yesterday and it held 20.2 gal, I still had over 3 gallons left!!! i guess im gonna just have to drive it around the block 100 times or so when it gets really low to see if the light works or not.. and by the way what actually stops working? the sending unit? or maybe a bulb???
