Hi Jerome,
behind the centre dash console next to either the clock or oil temp gauge is a hole with a 2wired plug with abulb attached to it my question is should this plug have 2 copper like wings attached opposite sides of each other to connect to the printed circuit board because my plug does not have the copper wings.
Could you also provide a wiring diagram which shows the choke heater wire and the A/C solenoid from the left engine loom for a 1980 LG4 |cheers|

jerome the plug in question could be the check engine plug which should be inserted above the oil temp gauge or the clock should this have the wings. i thought so aswell so i got anew plug made with wings plugged the connection into the bottom left hand socket as this was the only connection without aplug in it and fried my circuit panel.do you have a diagram of the back of the centre console |cheers|
