Could someone please help me with the following - Background - All the night dash lighting on my '68 just stopped working, so none of the gauges are lit as well as tach and speedometer, regardless of twist setting on light knob. (1) Is there a fuse that controls all that and could have gone out? (2) Where in the heck is the fuse box on this car? I appreciate all the responses this car is fairly new to me (and I am non-mechanically inclined) Thanks!

There is a fuse that feeds the outside park lights and the dash switch for dash lights. It then goes to a smaller fuse, likely 7 amps in yours, and feed the lights.
The fuse box is way up under the far left (driver's side) side of the dash.

So that smaller fuse will be in that box as well not in-line of the wiring somewhere? Thank you.
The fuse is a small amp fuse and the smallest size fuse in the box. Check the fuse first. If that doesn't work then it is most likely your headlight switch. These can go all at once and the dash lights won't come on, but still make the headlights come on.

The fuse that controls the instrumentlighting is what is called an SFE 71/2 amp, I had to replace mine a couple of years ago

What did you have to replace in that case? A different fuse or some part of the lighter? Thanks.
