I screwed up when I bought my fiber optics. I didn't look at the headlight harness close enough and now I need to replace it. Does anyone know where I can get just the wiring without the fiber optic? Lectric Limited said they would not. My only other recourse would be to sell the fiber harness and start over.
Suggestions?

Sell the fiber optic and start over would probably be the most correct way, but a forward lighting wiring harness from a later year is probably pretty close to the same without the FO's. You sure there is no hope in fixing your old harness? Replacing bad wires is not all that tough if you can find the correct connectors. Chances are real good if Lectric Limited does not have what you are looking for it just does not exist.

Sell and re-buy. Later harness is similar, but the pins move every year. I am using a complete 72 harness in my 69 so I bought a 69 fwd lamp harness to get the fiberoptics and correct plugs/lamps (I fished out the rear fiberoptics from my original harness). I sat down and swapped the pins around and it works, but why reinvent the wheel unless you have to?
