Topic: hazard light keeps flashing
in Forum: C3 Electrical
ohh..and when taking out that silver flasher relais out of the fusebox the flashing stops but when using my turnsignal it starts again.. guess the hazard overrules the turning signal ?
so i was wondering that switch might be dead or can it be something like a shortcutsomewhere? . i am not looking forward to opening the steeringcolum to get to that switch..( don't even have the puller for it) but then again.. what has to be done has to be done

You can probably get it pulled out if you keep push/pulling on it. You can pull out on it pretty hard without hurting it.(you might break the knob, but it won't hurt the switch

If you do manage to get it un-stuck, it might be a good idea to pull the steering wheel, and lube the switch up with some white lithium grease, or electical contact grease. WD40 would do in a pinch, but only use a little pinch!

thankz adam.. you were right... after pushing and pulling and twisting a bit it finally came out and the flashing stopped
but right away a second prob popped up.. when turning direction signal ( just one side) looks like an alarm is turned on.. inside the silver direction relais on passenger side .. grrrrrrrrrrrr i hate the electric part

I don't understand.....
What looks like an alarm turned on?
Do you mean, if you use the turn signal, all of the lights flash?

i meant that inside that relais it sounds like a buzzer gone off.
but i have already found solved the prob, in the past they have changed the wiring (i guess for european regulations) for the front lights /direction signals, they also put in a "3 wire" relais instead of the standard 2 for the direction signal , now when one of the direction lights has a defect it gives that buzzer sound.
