I noticed the other day that one of my low beam headlamps was more "yellow" than white. I thought it might be getting ready to burn out so I bought a new one and installed it. When I turned on the lights, the new one also was "yellow". After driving around for a little while, the light now is white.
Is that indicative of a wiring problem? Just a new bulb "warming up"?

Check all the grounds for the light circuits. SOunds as if you have an intermittent problem which is usually a loose wire.

I have the same problem. My left dim burnt out last year and I replaced it. I noticed in the last couple of weeks, that this same light, which has been replaced is now burning dull yellow, but the right, which has not been replaced by me is still burning bright. I will take a look at the connections and see if there is corrosion or something on the left side bulb's connection.

Maybe it's a virus going around?

Seriously though, let me know what you find out!
Definitely a bad connection. The light is yellow because it is not at full brightness. It's probably a bad ground or a corroded light socket. Personally, I have not had my headlight sockets apart but if they are anything like all the othe GM sockets I have seen they can be disasembled and cleaned.
