It just screws on/off. Once you get the knob off, there should be two slots in the bezel. You can use a couple of screwdrivers(carefully) to un-screw the bezel. Sometimes, it's just finger tight, so it might just screw right off by hand.
To get the knob off, you have to have access to the light switch from behind. There is a button you must push to get the knob off of the switch. Be sure to dis-connect the battery first.

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
You may have to work the knob a little to get it out when you have the button pushed but it will come out. Who thought of that lash-up?
