Hi everybody
just finish replacing and repairing the complet headlights with new parts and refreshing the good parts.
look good now I just order some Euro clear headlights whit replaceable H-4 xenon bulbs/clear lenses hyperwhite.
now the question how to adjust the headlights or is there a way ( trick )
I was planning to put the vette in front of the garage door at a distance of about 20 ' or so
and try to align the headlights but at what height ? and what distance exactly ?
is there somebody out there that have done this .

Back in " the day ". mechanics used an alignment tool to set the proper height and angle of the head lamps. If you can find a guy who has been in business for a while, he may still have one of those alignment devices. A question....do the new lamps draw more current than the stock lamps? If it is considerably more, to avoid an overheating problem in the lamp circuit you may want to install a seperate power relay to protect your original switch and wiring. 4 Webbers can give some good advice on that.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Normand,
They really don't say much about the product. Before you send any money, I think I would send them an e-mail and ask these two questions
1. Do they draw more current than the factory bulbs and if so how much more
2. Since it does not specify, are they high or low beams...if low, do they also offer high?
I realize they seem like dumb questions, but I would want to know those answers before I ordered them. Please let me know the answers by posting here on this thread so everyone else can see them also.
Thanks!!

That is pretty interesting cause their add says it does include the bulbs !!! I was interested in your post cause there are no street lights where I live and these back country roads are dark as heck. A little extra bright out front would help considerably. Maybe I will try getting ahold of these guys and ask a few questions just to see if they can read their own add.
I would be very interested in this conversion, like Glenns mentioned I also travel back roads in the country . I am going to follow up on this and will let you know if I am going to install a set !

Oh my, what a NICE picture of those carburators !!!!! I wanted to see them up close and personal last Wednesday at Hooters.
I am going to send them an e-mail as soon as I post this and ask if the original harness plug needs to be modified or if it plugs directly into the new lamps and also if they have high beams. Geo, if you want to ask them some questions, please do cause you know more about this stuff than I do.

Hi Glenn sorry about hooters ,,,but it was vacation time . We need to know the amperage draw on the euro setup . That will determine what electrical work needs to be done ie: relays etc . The stock vette headlights are horrible after driving my wifes bmw with the euro setup . Are you going to contact them or would you like me to do it ? I am free all day so let me know .

Ok Guys, I sent them an e-mail asking if the plugs or harness needed to be modified, also if they sold both high and low beams. I will paste in their answer. It somehow does not make sense to me since our cars have four headlamps.
You do not have to change the original wiring, and the bulbs include the high and low beams.
Thanks.
Joe
George, can this be true?
