Vette(s): 1977 L48 just purchased 07-20-05 this was a one owner corvette,had been in a garage for the last 4 year on blocks.I have the orignal sales invoice (purchased from Anthony AbrahamChevolet)for the total price of $10550 dollars.In MIAMI,FL.
Am having problems with my 77 corvette"s headlights they will always go down right side first then the drivers side,but the lights lately refuse to come up unless i help get under them push.Can someone give me some advice Thanks Glenn

Sounds like a vaccuum problem, or a problem with either the actuators, or the vac. relay valves. The seals in the actuators are prone to drying out and leaking, and the relay valves have the same type of prob. The fact that one comes up & down earlier than the other would seem to point in the direction of these items.

Try this link to check for Vaccum Trouble. Very good webpage with some handy trouble shooting tips. If I were guessing I would think that the "Witches Hats" are deteriorated and this is what is causing your problems.
You can also buy a kit that has everything with witches hat and dust boots.
