The spec is 0.51 volts + - 10%

The TPS (throttle position sensor) is located in the left (drivers) side of the front corner of the carb. It is operated from the linkage on the left side front of the carb through a link, to the acellerator pump lever on the top of the carb. The lever is held in with and piviots on a roll pin. As the lever goes toward the center of the carb, it ends where it pushes down on the acellerator pump rod. Inbetween the acellerator pump rod and and the piviot rollpin you can see a green shaft under the lever. This is what pushes down on the TPS inside the carb. The three wire connector on the front of the carb, in front of this green rod, is the TPS electrical connector. The center wire is the signal wire where you backprobe and measure the TPS voltage.

Following the acellerator lever back toward the side of the carb, look under the lever at the top/side of the carb top housing. You will see a very small sealed plug. This plug needs to be drilled and pulled out. Once drilled, insert a screw and give it a jerk to pull the plug. Or use a larger drill and drill the plug away. Don't go too deep and damage the screw underneath. Drill a little at a time and keep checking.

Under the plug is an allen screw. The screw pushes on a lever inside the carb, which sets the TPS.

Before adjusting the TPS make sure the idle is correct. If the throttle plate is not in the correct position, it will affect the TPS adjustment.
Connect to the center TPS wire with a digital volt meter. Analog is not usually accurate enough. Some are, but very pricey. Use a digital meter. Turn the key on and read the voltage. Turn the allen screw to adjust to the correct voltage. No need to replace the plug. No one ever does.

You can expect to drive the car a few miles before computer relearn.

Why do suspect it's off? This usually does not happen in a Q-Jet. What are the symptoms or reasons. Codes? Let me help you with this one.
