My car has only 1 horn and it's no good. I've tried everything but I can't get it to work. My question is how many horns is it supposed to have and what notes. I have found conflicting information on this. Hopefully somebody can tell me.
Thanks

Dual horns were an option for most of the earlier Sharks. The horns can be rebuilt, but it may not be worth the hassle unless you're doing the "Judging" thing.
Ya'll want a horn? How 'bout This one?
Imma fixin tuh order one for my Goldwing....

Don't know what particular note your car had, but sometimes, it may be stamped on the housing somewhere. If someone here has a '72 NCRS Judging/Tech Info manual, it would state what note(s) the horn(s) should be.
Have ya tried whackin it with a hammer yet?

I have not whacked it with a hammer...I think I'll do that when I get home tonight, what am I gonna do, break it. Hey where does a guy get the NCRS info? do you have to subscribe to something or join a group?
I believe it is the low note, the sound it makes is "beep," kinda sounds like your alarm horn, I joined NCRS for I think for 40 bucks so I could get all the info they had on all C-3 "s they had for 80 bucks, I got two 3" thick binders worth of info, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll scan and send the horn test procedure out of my GM service manual. anips 2009-08-19 13:17:32
