Horn sounds when I turn left.

Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary Yellow Corvette

I just installed the new turn signal switch. It works but it does not turn off after the turn. The issue I’m having is when I turn left.  The horn sounds when I turn left. Any insights?
