Hello I have a 75 Corvette that I show at Car Shows. I want to swap out the booster and master cylinder with chrome. Now I have lots of money already tied up in this Vette more than I could ever get out of it. Does anyone know about the Universal ones they are selling on EBAY. I am trying to figure out do I need a 8" or 9" and will they even work? If I have to buy a very expensive one I will but don't want to if I can make this fit. So does anyone think this will fit my car???? I have received the same type message back from several that say it is Universal.

NOT a Corvette set-up....just a copy. Got to be careful with the master cylinders on these cars, as there are TWO different piston set-ups in them. One is a deep well type, with a longer rod from the booster to the master, and one with a shallow well piston, and shorter rod from booster to master. Of course, if the booster/master come together as an assembly, they should match. From the pics, I'm not sure if that set-up would fit a Corvette....the booster appears to be much longer than stock, even tho it is smaller in diameter. That is mainly a custom unit for custom built cars/street rods, etc. It might work...might not.
I think Mid Am, and even Ecklers sell chromed boosters and masters...other places prolly do too. I would personally be more inclined to get them from a Corvette supplier....you'd have a better shot at them actually fitting, and working. Just my .002
