I just replaced all the door jamb switches (forward & back). I also replaced the dash harness and as far as I can tell there is only one ground (from the dash harness) which I have grounded to the door pillar. I am having the following problems: 1) the door ajar light is not coming on when the doors are open 2) the interior lights are on and are not going off when I push the forward switches in. Except when I have the ignition switch turn on and then only the right forward switch works when I push it in. I'm at my wits end.....Help!

The switches ground out to the post when the door is open. So if the lights stay on that means there is a short somewhere. The lights and door ajar are hooked up to the front pillar post. The rear switchs are for the alarm system.Redwingvette 38610.4988310185
