Only one in the hood today....nobody around,.... wife gone for the day .....jus me & da old dog.
Time for that ignition rebuild.
I Replaced coil, rotor, cap, wires, & plugs......adjusted hood ....(that hood adjustment always makes-em-go faster).
Wrapped the seat with the dog blanket and my pal jumped in. My yellow lab buddy always rides "shotgun" when my wifes not there (I prefer my....err....uhhh...."never mind")
Turned the corner on our rural road....nobody in sight....."hit-it"
"ooohh...yeooww.....What a difference.
The old dog wasn't impressed.....just about landed in the cargo area.
He gave me a look of......"I'm gettin too old for this SH_T "!!
"Know what ya mean old fella"......................"know what ya mean" !!

Well Rich, Didn't he have his passenger restaint belt on
. And, if that don't work, maybe a helmet ?
Betcha' he'd love it with the t-top off.

I didn't want to tell anybody that I took the dog out riding in the Vette. Hey, If it's cool to have a pickup and a dog, why not a Vette and yer dog.

In California, the government has stepped in to protect our pets from us. It is against the law to let your dog ride in the back your pick up without a restraint tether to keep 'em in. Mind you, it doesn't protect its head from sudden stops so we expect a helmet law for our dogs anytime.
