It all started with my key buzzer messing up and it stayed on after the key was removed, and doors open. I was going to get to it, but it didn't bother me that much. Not long after that, the horn came on all the time. I thought it was the normal stuff, and replaced the horn relay, and steering column parts. The horn still comes on all the time.
I found an electrical diagram that I downloaded from the web, I saw that the two are on the same circuit. Is it possible that one is causing the other??
Thanks,
Glenn

It may be sourced on the same circuit, but they do seperate functions. It's possible you have frayed/chaffed the wire harness in the steering column. This is common with a tilt wheel. Tug or push the harness at the base of the column and see if it makes a difference. Also try tilting the column and see what happens. If any of these make a change, the harness is shorting.
Thanks Ken, but I checked the harness, and it's like brand new. I inspected all of the connections on the harness, and moved it around. What I know for sure is that it's not the harness, or the new horn parts. I think I heard somewhere that it could be a ground off the horns themselves, but I haven't checked that yet.
Let me tell you this is very
! I took the whole dash, and steering column apart this winter all because of this problem, and I kept finding other things to fix. The good news is that I've fixed many of the previous owners problems, but the bad news is that I still have a horn short that I can't find. I don't know where to look next. I even picked up a new plastic retainer for where the horn spring meets the connector plate. I just don't know what else to do.
Thanks Glenn

Both the key buzzer and horn work by grounding. The horn relay is grounded by the horn button and contacts. If it does not ground the relay, the horn can't blow unless the relay is shorted. So it has to be between the relay and the horn button contact, aka the steering column and contacts, or a pinched wire, or bad relay.
Because the warning alarm also is a gounnd circuit, the problem could be related. But lack of a ground won't do it. If you unplug the connector at the base of the column and both stop, it is in the column.
