Hi!
My 69 has an electrical problem with head lights, the low beams work but the high beams don't. I have changed and put in new lights all the way across so it's not a bulb burnt thing, I did however put in hallagen bulbs. I have also changed the switch on the floor to change from low to high.
Is there another switch or something that could cause this problem.

Thanks,
Len |cheers|

Hi Len , remove the plug from the dimmer switch and try putting a jumper from the hot socket and try lighting them that way .

|wavey| Thanks for the reply 4webers.
I will give that a try and see what happens,I did change the dimmer switch but it wouldn't hurt to give your idea a go.

If you haven't figured it out yet It could be corrosion in the dimmer switch connector or at the bulb connections. Also make sure the ground wire to the high beams is good. Doesn't sound like a big problem.
