I replaced the printed circut for my center gauges and now my low fuel is on. The gauge seem to work fine. Does anyone think its a sending unit problem??? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If your gauge is working fine, and reading that you have juice in the tank, then I'd hesitate to suspect the sender unit..
Instead, I reckon your problem lies with the little additional printed circuit that is part of the fuel light bulb holder.
Make sure all three connections to this are good, and that the tracks on the board are all good too. I don't believe you can buy new fuel light boards, so repair is the only way. If the above checks don't help, then two new transistors on the board should sort it.

This light came on after I replaced the circut.
Anything else anybody has is, as always, appreciated.
Thanks

Which circuit are you saying you've replaced? You mean the main, flexible circuit that feeds all the gauges, yeah?
Well the low fuel light is controlled by a completely different "add on" circuit, built on to the back of the bulb holder. This is the one that is likely to be faulty. The flexible circuit has no control over the low fuel light, other than to provide power and the signal from the tank.

When I replaced all the bulbs, I didn't notice a circut connected to that bulb. How big is it, or is it a special bulb holder that I may have moved to a different position????
Thanks

It's a special bulb holder with a piece of circiut board attached to it. The holder has three terminals rather than the regular two. Here's some pics:

from an old corvetteforum thread.
If you just screw a regular bulb into the hole it would, i imagine, just run full time.
You'll only be able to buy one of these second hand i think, or make your own. They're pretty simple.
Good luck!

I am having the same issue with my 1977. My module was missing. Iam looking for information on the circuit to make one or info on some bad ones to repair. I found one at pacific Corvette 503-239-0210 in portland oregon but they wanted 75.00 for a used one. I think thats to much for a light I dont want to come on any way.
