I did however miss starting it up for a period of about 10 days. Now it won't start ! Boo Hoo. I have in my possession a very old 5 amp trickle
charger. I hooked it up for 12 hours , with no results. Like  , it didn't start.

Could be several things...a bad battery, dirty battery connections, a severe parasitic drain on the battery when the car is sitting. First, make sure you have a good battery and clean, solid connections before you can do any further tests.

You can do a search of the electrical systems forum here and how to check for a parasitic drain is well described.

Would make sure you have a good clean solid connection on terminals as gunslinger said would also load test battery after a good charge.
