After reading several posts I'm strongly considering installing MSD ignition on my 1975 L-48 convertible. I'd like to take advantage of the increased starting, warming & idling ease that others seem to have obtained by installing it. The current ignition is stock and is the 1st year for HEI utilizing a stock Delco-Remy distributor so no points to set, etc. Also, the carb is original stock - recently re-built Quadrajet. Which model would be best for my car and still function with my existing tach and original set-up? Any other parts the need to be changed or is there a "kit" that contains all? Any suggestions and advise is much appreciated |eek|

The HEI system in your car is far better than points. MSD is better. Call Summit Racing or Jegs Racing and they can tell you about upgrade kits and components.

Thanks for the input ! I've decided to go the same route - 6A box w/ upgraded coil & distributor. Looking forward to installing it during the next week or so :) |thumb|
