Hey friends - got my new gauges and radio and was reinstalling the shift console plate when I must have joggled some wires located near the shift lever all of a sudden my horn went off and I couldn't get it to stop until I pulled the wire off the horn.  I have gone in there, shecked the harness and made sure every wire was solidly connected and none were loose yet if I touch the connecting wire to the horn it goes off and I can't get the horn to stop.  Any ideas?  Could I possibly have triggered the alarm?  How do I reset it?  Any suggestions really appreciated - I want to drive this car this year. - Thanks Ken

Does the horn blow constantly, or does it "beep-beep-beep"?
Which horn did you have to disconnect?
The alarm horn is under the driver side fender...the regular horn(s) is up front.

I can't think of anything in the shifter area that would trigger the regular horn to blow. The alarm relay IS in the shifter console area on the later cars, if I remember correctly.
