Alright I have almost all my interior wiring figured out thanks to the awesome wiring diagram I received throgh memebers of the forum... But I am still havign a problem with this little black box possibly a relay or something like that... Its on the main harness coming off the fuse box maybe 4 inches away tops.. It has two wires it hink maybe 2 inches long from the main harness to it... Everytime i conenct the negative batteryu terminal it starts to get hot what could this be and how do i stop it beside pulling the negative battery terminal?
Also where does the 2 pin connector off the nuetral safety switch go that has the pink, pink white strip, and purple yellow stripe wires go? i can't fidn it on my wiring diagram...
Finally can someone tell me what the orange and black wires are for in the jack compartment?

do you have a light in the middle compartment. if you do i believe that is what the two wires are for.

The wires in the jack compartment are for the light in the center glove box.
Can't help you on the neutral switch, mine is a 4-spd
What color are the wires going to your relay? If you have power windows it could be for that or may be horn relay. I looked under my dash but did not see a relay, but it could be tucked out of sight.
