Hey guys..
Ok, serious in-dash audio receiver question...
I just purchased a Pioneer F900BT

I put this thing in my truck... a 2004 Ford F150.... what an amazing unit..
Built in Sat Nav... no external map unit or garbage based dvds... Ipod connectivity with charging station manual or voice song change... blue tooth phone integration calling, call out, contacts logging.. sirius radio ... am/fm.. PC integration... SD card, dvd playback with dolby 5.1CH awesome with my subs.. I got a nice system in my truck ect... you get the drift a radio deck that you can control the world with... lol
Its a double DIN unit.... however I was looking for something like this for the Vette.. I'm keeping old nostalgia looks but I am trying to integrate all of the creature features new cars have today while mainting that classic look. Now... I have the dash all apart... with the cluster panel is a singe DIN 2" unit... witha chassis code of S,U or SU which is like becoming proprietary... sadly enough.. anyone know of such a unit that maybe has a motorized flip screen that will fit in the the dash and not hit the cluster panel with its released? The speakers don;t worry.. I'm rewiring the car with a nice DAXX oxygen free copper based RCA wire... low voltage contractors are sweet huh? lol
Thanks guys,
-Louis
