Hey guys,

I found out that the left window-driver motor sounds weak, and the passanger window-motor does not work. Also on the orig Delco 8-track player it seems to get power, even when you switch to stero, the power light comes on. However no sound. The AC compressor does not work, and my spedomoter, well.... Lets just say I punched the car to 75MPH already down a local street and the minute I let off the gas the needle when from 75MPH down to 0MPH, and then the needle bounced and then oficcially landed on 0MPH. Do you think the wiring harness needs to be replaced, or are all these things broken and need replacing coincidently? IF i need a new wiring harness I bet I would need all of these:

I don't think there's much commonality with all those issues.
Speedo cable sounds like it was sticking and just broke
A.C. Compressor, I think I've replaced one on every vette I've had.
Welcome to corvette ownership!!!!
Just go after the probs one at a time.

Will do, thanks Dave. However what do you think about the radio situation? Do you think that the speakers just went bad?

By all means, check the speakers, fuses and wiring first before you consider fixing or replacing the stereo.
Always start with what would be the simplest solution before yoy replace an expensive component.

Invest in a good "test light" and "multimeter" and start learning the art of troubleshooting electrical systems. It'll save you a bunch of money down the road.

|withstupid| I would look at troubleshooting the individual components before I started replacing anything.

I would also think the harness if probably not the problem, more several components are old and tired.
