I did find a mouse (dead) in the car this spring BUT after tearing apart the dash etc I can not locate any chewed areas in any of the wires... BUT none of my guages work..although they all will light up...

IS THERE a single common ground or something that if broken will cause all the gauges to stop working... (the speedo
works but it is mechanical... gas, fuel, temp guages etc
do not work...

Car in question is a 76 Last year my 72 had working gauges BUT none would light...fixed that by replacing the dash dimmer switch...

Kind of frustrating

Either a power supply or a ground would do it. Both are common to all the electrical gauges

Also check the Inst fuse. It's a small one on the bottom of the fuse panel.
