It's the end of the month-before a holiday- and things are slow at work. So my mind is wondering back to the vette. The vette is in the process of getting a new 5 speed tranny to replace the 4 speed. Have replaced the clutch pressure plate bell housing and starter, last night i replaced the spedometer cable and while i was at it i replaced all the instrument bulbs 9 the center console is out and on-pluged but i wanted to see if the dash and curtesy lights were working. I hooked up the battery (OH ****) no power. anywhere, its late,so i when to the house will get back to it tonight. Anyway is there a a single connection that may have been unpluged (as i pulled the old spedo cable out) going to the main fuse panel or is there something that connects in the console that would cause this even though on likely?

I'm wid Ron...sounds like someone fergot to connect the big red cable to the center post on the solenoid.
Are we sure the batt. is hot, or is that a silly question?
