I just purchased a cheapie OBD Code Reader for my '82. Problem is...I can't find the darn connector on the car! Where the heck is the thing? Haynes points me to multiple possibilities...but I'll be danged if I can find it.
HELP!

I saw that connector a couple of weeks ago and wondered what it was for. Thanks.
Now, what is an OBD code reader?

Yep...OBD = On Board Diagnostics
A card reader checks the engine and let's you know what is wrong if/when the check engine light comes on. Pretty handy-dandy tool to diagnose problems.
They certainly do save a lot of time in
diagnosing problems. Autozone will also scan for codes free of charge
if you have a current check engine light illuminated. At least they do
here.
