I have a oil pressure gage that pegs at 90 psi when the engine is off and reads 50 /60 psi when the engine is running. New engine, 2 new sending units, and the oil pressure is actually good. any suggestions? |headscratch|

Sounds like your engine builder has installed a high (or higher) output oil pump. I'm not clear on what you mean by "Oil pressure is good". Are you using an alternative source to measure it? If so, how do those readings compare to the gauge itself? |headscratch|

I'd ask the builder what he installed.
