"The patient's guardian is feeling better again this morning, but he's still a little unsteady on his feet. Anyway, he said to tell you that he forgot one other thing from his adventures 'down under' yesterday..."
"The blue wire--the one you all seem to think might have had power--has what appears to be a plastic splice connector attached to it. But no other wires attached to that. So it seems as though somebody stuck a splice connector on for no good reason whatsoever...sort of the same situation we have here at the hospital from time to time..."
"The patient's guardian is really stumped now, because he tried to trace the wires and they appear to go....nowhere. There's no sign of them entering or leaving the engine compartment...no sign of them inside the console, behind the radio...and no sign of them on the patient's left side either. 'Nuttin' . Nada. El zipperino', is how the patient's guardian put it."
"So, doctors, unfortunately it appears you'll have to give up your Columbus Day poker game...tonight's annual visit to Club Wicked, with special appearance scheduled by the Kittycat Dolls...tomorrow's golf marathon...and tomorrow evening's traditional bar-b-que at Administrator Wartell's beach house...sorry about that."
"Oh, and one last item: first year resident Spielman, we'll need you in the waiting room, stat. The patient's guardian just stumbled into the coffee urn, and the floor's covered in fresh-brewed now...the maintenance crew is off for the weekend, but crew chief Jose called in and said 'will be good trainin' 'sperience for doctor to have...he know where mop and pail are..."
I'm glad I'm on call 24/7, to the waiting room, must impress crew chief Jose with my trainin. Blue wire with a push connector? Someone wanted a power source at one time and before the transfer to the new guardian something was surgically removed? All that is left is the wires with the connector?? Cap the wires and stitch up the wound, continue with the physical..The guardian is spending why to much time, Doctors time also in this matter... Please advise in which direction did Candy-striper Hilton run?

"I think he was pretty well freaked by your unanimous conclusion that 'amputation' was the only route, because the last I saw of him he was muttering that he was 'going to take her to the Circuit City Clinic for a second opinion'..."
"I don't think it helped that Chaplain Tuxblacray showed up here either--sort of sent the wrong message, if you get my drift..."
"So, I guess that wraps up this chapter of "As The Wheel Turns"...
