That last pic.... are you sure that blue is a wire and not one of the 4 vacuum lines that go to the heater/AC controls??   Pretty sure that big black and tan are vacuum.   edit...nah, looking closer I see that it appears to go into a non stock connector.mkapp78792006-10-03 19:50:13

The blue one is definately a wire. I cannot get that pic to "edit", but I can enlarge it, but then it is too large to put(store on a site) anywhere!

The only thing I see in the wiring diagram with those particular color wires is the wiper system...does this car have the intermittant wipers?

There is definitely a "scotch-lock" connector there(the red thing), but it's hard to see which wire it is on. It may very well be that these are stereo system wires...
Can you give a better description of exactly WHERE this mess is under the dash? What angle is the pic taken from? I can see a bit of carpet there, but I just don't know where these wires are in the dash...also, what color are the wires that are amputated? I can only see the one blue wire.

Well, the pink/black and the orange are for the courtesy lights.  Green and gray most likely speaker wires, but not correct for right front speaker according to the manual. Going out to look under mine now....

Can't see nuttin up under mine without tearing stuff apart. Nope!  I'm thinking maybe aftermarket radio installion remnants. If it's connected to the pink/black its ignition on only(key on) or to the orange it's on always(battery hot). I can't see any other wires cut but the blue either.

I see now that what I thought was carpet is actually the foam seal for the A/C ductwork.
After flipping the pic over 180 degrees, it makes more sense...
I kinda agree that they wires there look like stereo system stuff. It looks like the black, and the brown(tan) wires are cut, but I can't be for sure.
Need more info, or clearer pics!
What color are the three that are cut? Which direction do they go?

I've enlarged the pic 200%...the blue wire is definitely going to the "scotch-lock" connector. The brown and black wires appear to be melted on the ends, and the black wire appears to have writing on it, similat to what you would see on a fuse-link wire. It could be a white stripe, but, it looks more like writing...diagnosis continues...Dr. Zhivago needs rest...take two wheel weights and call me in da morning... Adams' Apple2006-10-03 21:10:18

Nurse Micki here..........Big%20smile........dag burn it, I almost missed the boat!    There's writin' on the brown wire too or white stripe (ya gotta click & drag on the large space above to see the word).  Look at the clearest picture in your post, Joel and look toward the bottom, see the lettering/stripe on the brown wire.  What the heck is that, another fuse wire?  Confused  I like this gold color...color of my old poupon mustard C3. LOL

"Doctor Kevorkian called...said that his on-site examination of the patient indicated that the brown and the black wires, partially shown on the left side of the X-rays, were dangling and unterminated (a rare thing for the good doctor)..."

"The angle of the X-rays is looking up, from the patient's 'footpan', towards the upper left hand corner of the patient's under-dash area. In other words, the uppermost corner of the passenger-side footwell, where the transmission console meets the firewall."

Boy this is great, way better than General Hospital, can't wait to see if Dr. Adams will diagnose major surgery or just write a prescription? And where is Nurse Micki? Off playing with a dictating Machine some where I suppose? Well, I guess I'll have to wait until the Doc gets some rest. I'll be awake all night wondering what the outcome will be!! Dead or Alive??
