The blue wire is definitely a wire...I can see the copper wire inside, and the blue wire is going into the scotch-lock connector.
It appears that the scotch-lock connector is melted, also. It seems as tho whatever system/component that the bue wire is part of has created a short, or overload on the wire, and melted the plastic vac. lines that run next to it.
More anatomy studies are required. Unfortunately, we will need to put the patient in a drug-induced coma, for her own good. Please remove the negative battery cable from the pacemaker until we have a cure. We don't want the patient to have a seizure while waiting for medications...

"They've asked, 'Do Dr. Adams' hands always shake like that?'...and they also wanted to know why nurse Micki's makeup is all smudged...plus, they asked if the waiting room coffee is always this stale--and if we can get some reading material in there that's a little newer than that copy of 'Corvette Quarterly' from April 2002..."

I'm convinced, the brown and black ones are vac. lines, for the A/C system, as Mike suggested.
I am convinced the blue wire is definitely a wire...it has been cut, and it goes into the melted scotch-lock connector.
I am also convinced, after consultations with Dr.s McCoy, Phil, and Duntov, that exploratory surgery will be needed to determine the exact location of the blood clot that has caused this anurism.
We(you, really, Ted) need to remove the air duct, so we(you) can see where these vac. lines/blue wires go, and perhaps determine why there is a scotch-lock there in the first place.
This will need to be done to correct the malfunction, anyway...unless you have "little tiny" hands.
Please keep the battery dis-connected until the source of this meltdown has been found, and repaired. We don't want yer next post to be from the burn ward at Johns/Hopkins/Paragon/Naber's Brothers hospital...

As a student of C3's in observation this will go down in the books of history, to observe the actual procedure from the beginning to the end on my visual aid in the comfort of my home 24/7. The intense correlation by the medical team lead by the great Dr. Adams is just breath taking, even though I do notice the shake of his hands now and then? Old age I assume? Never the less, to be in the presence of such greatness is awesome. I'm positive that the outcome will be life once again....I think I come here to much
