power antenna motor on

just went to check on the car and the power antenna is running key off, radio not in car out being repaired  odd issue?antenna did not go up just the motor is spinning cold weather??

If you hear the motor spinning, but the mast is not moving, the mast is broken, and will need to be replaced. Not a hard job, but time consuming.
With the radio unplugged, it prolly signals the antenna to go down. Ya need to unplug the antenna until you get it repaired. Ouch

tried to remove the antenna but no luck,so i just removed the antenna assembly, any options on what to do now? find a replacement? or install a new motor??? i do a have a broken cable inside i took the motor apart, is the new mast easy to set up?

New cable comes attached to the mast and is very easy to install. For sure put a male/female spade wire connector on when you reinstall. This way when its breaks again.....like mine did you can crawl under and easily dis connected the motor so it does not just sit there and run.
